New Eternal Hybrid Water Heater

Care One Plumbing has recently completed many installations of a great new product! The Eternal Hybrid Water Heater, this beautiful new product is getting great reviews and a lot of attention! what is a hybrid water heater you ask? well simply it combines the best features of a traditional tank heater and tank-less water heater. Why is this so revolutionary you ask? because each type of heater has drawbacks and benefits that asks it's user to bear with over its service life such as...

Traditional Tank Heater
  1. Amount of hot water limited by size and capacity of heater
  2. Dated Technology
  3. Quickly run out of hot water
  4. Noisy Tanks Due to Scale and Corrosion
  5. Large Amount of Space needed for Heater
  6. Poor Efficiency
Tank-less Water Heater
  1. Lag Time for delivering Hot Water (not Instant)
  2. Use of Recirculation Pumps Greatly Reduces Warranty
  3. Requires Annual Maintenance (Descale Service)
  4. Lower water pressure at higher flow rates
  5. Better Efficiency 82 % (not Great)
  6. Limescale is devastating to Heat Exchanger
  7. Expensive Stainless Steel Venting Required
As you can see each technology has its issues and benefits, but what if there was something better out there, that took the strengths and corrected the weaknesses of each technology. Well there is silly it's the Eternal Hybrid, this nifty heater corrects the problems of both products in stunning fashion. First of all it's efficiency is at 98% once again 98% efficient! I don't think it can get better than that. Second this heater produces unlimited hot water, with NO LAG TIME from when you call for hot water, how? well there is a small storage tank that accounts for the instant demand when the water is turned on. Third this buffer tank also prevents the dreaded cold water sandwich that is common in tankless heaters, and also allows a standard re-circulation pump to be used without cutting you warranty by two-thirds. Fourth, the heater is all stainless steel! all main components are stainless steel, how's that for durability. Fifth no annual maintenance required, or special maintenance isolation valves needed for that maintenance! a savings of $200.00 versus a tank-less installation.

Now similar to a tank-less installation, the hybrid heater has very specific installation requirements that cannot be short cut if you want the heater to work properly. Proper placement of the heater will help to minimize the installation costs and initial upfront cost, which will allow for a faster return on investment. These heaters are the greenest water heating technologies available and the best part is, the savings are not lost in maintenance and high cost of ownership that is required with a standard tankless heater.

Aside from the built-in storage, Eternal Hybrid water has dual mode activation which mimics operational characteristics of both tank and tankless. Eternal has full modulated gas input rate and is activated by flow sensor. The Hybrid design eliminates the minimum activation problem commonly associated with tankless.

Hybrid water heaters are more energy-efficient than standard water heaters. Many hybrid models match conventional water heater connections for easy installation, and most take up less space in your home. New models also burn cleaner than many appliances, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
